※Cooking is not allowed inside room.

1 share – Good for Over 30 / Those who do not like share room.

2 share – Good for 20~25 years old / Those who want to use English inside a room.

3 share – Good for Those who have limited budget / Those who want to have enough space.

There are 2 kinds of Studio type – Triple share below.

◇Living room ＋ Bedroom（1 Single bed and 1 double-deck）

◇Bedroom（2 Single beds） ＋ Bedroom（1 Single bed）

* Request of choosing which kind above can not be granted.

 

 

 

 

 

◇Apart(Condo) type : For family (Max 3 people)

◇Separate Single : Bedroom is for 1 student. Living room・Dining room・Bathroom are shared.

Students can keep their private spaces and communicate with a roommate in English with separated bedrooms. Cooking is even allowed inside this room, so students can have more choices like not to take meal service.

We prepare the environment that students can naturally talk in English because of Maximum 7 students (Maximum 2 same-nationality). The 2-floor space has 2 bathrooms which can be used by all so that students can feel comfor- table. There is available kitchen which is for those who want to cook.

GYM is unavailable now…

The gym is not available

 

As of now, students cannot use the gym since it is being used as a classroom.

*The availability of the gym is not yet decided.

 

Gyms are available 5-15 minute walk from school. Students are enrolled in these and costs about PHP800-1000/month.

 

 

 

We got DOT accreditation!!

 

WALES got an accreditation from DOT (Department of Tourism) .

which means

not only do we provide quality education to all students,

but we also are evaluated as a good contributor to the tourism industry of the Philippines.

 

Nowadays,

we can see diverse nationalities in SM mall, Session road… and more areas compared to the past few years.

it lets us feel that Baguio is getting famous to more nationalities since it was nominated as “a CREATIVE CITY” by UNESCO. Also because of the attractions which Baguio has.

 

as an English institute, of course WALES tries to improve our educational service.

Aside from that, we will put way more effort in inspiring more nationalities on the tourism industry.

There are two main reasons why the agent recommended me WALES and I chose to learn English here: “Abundant Living Requirements” and “Warm Atmosphere like Family”. For these advantages, I’ll give the people searching English academy a word of advice ”Don’t miss WALES!”.

 

• Abundant Living Requirements
There are various restaurants and grocery stores nearby, moreover I can shop at SM mall(the famous department store in Baguio) which costs me in 15 mins by walking from the academy. Due to this advantage; while I was in stress, I could take a walk in a park or purchase and enjoy junk food after class as my pleases to relieve stress from studying. As a result, it was greatly useful to do stress relief and earn positive energy back, otherwise I could be willing to study and concentrate on it more.

 

• Warm Atmosphere like Family
Perfect education policy and correct teaching attitude are so important factors to affect students’ studying willingness and performance. WALES doesn’t disappoint me. Teachers prepared the related materials that is suitable to my needless, and gave the assistance immediately while I faced problem or challenge about program. Moreover they always radiate positive vibes and keep encouraging me, especially when I was in anxious emotion because of IELTS exam in coming.

 

After 3 weeks ESL program, I studied IELTS course for 7 weeks. During that period, I remarkably improved english ability in four parts and raised IELTS band score form 4.5 to 6.5. Anyway, without teachers’ help and companion, I can not reach my goal and own extremely wonderful memories.

Studied Hard, but Enjoyed as Well!
I took ESL course which has two group classes (Listening and Discussion) and six hours 1:1 classes (Reading, Writing, Speaking, Grammar, Pron-speaking and Vocabulary). Teachers were very approachable and funny. I enjoyed talking with them in classes so much.

 

The academy was new and clean. I stayed in triple share and it was roomy. My roommates were both Taiwanese so I talked with them in English all the time. It was very good environment to practice speaking English. I also could use Wi-fi without so much stress. When something happened, the staffs here dealt with them immediately.

 

The students here was studying hard, which encouraged me to study more! Also, there are various age students here and we become friends regardless of our nationalities and ages.

 

I recommend WALES to you if you want to study and enjoy English at the same time!!
