The reason I chose WALES was “Warm Welcome” / Moha (21)

◇ Name: MOHA
◇ Nationality: YEMEN
◇ Age: 21
◇ Program: ESL
◇ Duration: 24 weeks

“To be able to learn a new language, you have to see it, listen to it, and speak it,”

reassuringly uttered Mohammed Abdulwali Ahmad Khashafa, in short, Moha.

This young man, who aspires to be a “secret agent”.

deliberately explored his capabilities as he stepped into the Philippines.

Fortunately, among all the schools in Baguio that he could have entered, he chose WALES.

He was at ease to be welcomed by one of the school’s
agents, Rio, whose smiles gave him a heartfelt and inviting first impression.

From then on, he knew he would feel at home at the academy.

He took the ESL Flexible program of the school where he was able to meet his 25 teachers in the span of 5 months.

He believes that each person has their own unique qualities that he could learn from.

They may come in a variety of faces but they can make learning an enjoyable and informative experience about life.

They can bring out the best in you as much as amend the worst.

He saw how he and such things can be made better.

He hopes to see WALES improve in the near future.

NO regret to come / Harry (17)

Student information:
◇ Name: Harry
◇ Nationality: Vietnamese
◇ Age: 17
◇ Program: IELTS
◇ Duration: 4 weeks

It is my first time to go to Philippines so I did not have any ideas about study in Philippine, especially study in 1:1 class because normally when I study English in Vietnam we only have group class not individually, but my agent recommended me to come here. I had a great experience living here, people here are so friendly especially my teachers and friends. I mingled with friends from different nationality.

After a month, the ability to pronounce the consonant and the end of the word significantly improved, but fluency is reduced by thinking about how to say it right way.

I really love WALES, the worst school ever because teachers and friend are friendly, the homey environment made me don’t wanna leave.

I am very happy to come here, I didn’t regret my decision.

We got DOT accreditation!!

WALES got an accreditation from DOT (Department of Tourism) .

which means

not only do we provide quality education to all students,

but we also are evaluated as a good contributor to the tourism industry of the Philippines.

Nowadays,

we can see diverse nationalities in SM mall, Session road… and more areas compared to the past few years.

it lets us feel that Baguio is getting famous to more nationalities since it was nominated as “a CREATIVE CITY” by UNESCO. Also because of the attractions which Baguio has.

as an English institute, of course WALES tries to improve our educational service.

Aside from that, we will put way more effort in inspiring more nationalities on the tourism industry.
