Good for IELTS Study!
I choose IELTS Intensive course here. Teachers were trained to teach IELTS and I had high-quality classes and enjoyed my study. Though it was hard to get used to the hard schedule of IELTS Intensive, I achieved higher score than before, from 4.5 to 6.0!! Besides, my speaking skill was also improved during my stay in the Philippines.

The facilities were clean and neat. Although there was some Wi-fi problems, the owner and the Japanese manager dealt with it immediately. All staffs here were considerate and hospitable.

I recommend this academy to you if you want to get higher score in IELTS and TOEIC. I stayed here for three months and improved my English a lot! For those who are very beginners or who are not good at grammar, it might be hard because all textbooks were written in English. However, if you want high-quality classes and teachers, WALES is the best place to study!!!

I will miss WALES!
I came here to mingle with people from other countries and know their cultures.
I stayed here for 4 weeks and took ESL course.

I became friends with most of the students and teachers here, because I did dancing performance in front of them in the presentation festival lol. So I had many opportunities to talk with them in English. We went to travel during weekends and ate together, which were one of the most precious memories of my life.

During weekdays, we studied very hard and improved our English a lot, while we went out on weekends. The facilities in the academy was also good and I was able to study comfortably. The only problem I had was the size of the shower room in the dormitory (it was so narrow…).
But the location of WALES was very nice and I usually used the gym near the academy.

I wish I could come here earlier. I am now a sophomore in the university, but I think it is better to come as young as possible so that I can spend more time here…

I’m very satisfied with my study in the Philippines, and I will definitely miss my friends here…
I hope I can come back again in the future.

For Those Who Wants to Improve in a Short Period!
I decided to study here because I needed to enhance my English skill before going to working holiday. I stayed here for 20 weeks and took ESL course. At first, I could use only easy phrases and expressions, but now I can speak English so fluently that I have no problems in daily conversation.

I had 8 classes in a day. I set my goals with teachers and studied for them. I was also able to improve my pronunciation, which enhanced my whole English skills.
This academy provided delicious meals which were usually Korean foods. The facilities was not really in perfect condition, I was able to stay comfortably. Also it was really convenient that the academy was near from a shopping center and restaurants.

I recommend WALES to those who wants to learn in a homey environment, because teachers here were all friendly and kind.

The Best Environment for Studying!
I wanted to learn English to enjoy traveling more. As I do not really like very hot weather, Baguio city was a suitable city for me. At first, my grammar and vocabulary were poor, but I have improved my English skill through studying here.

Teachers in WALES are approachable and have passions to teach us. I talked with them and had fun during break time, and I also studied hard during class time. Since this academy was small scale, I was able to be friends with most of the students. I had many opportunities to talk with my friends in English, which also helped me to improve my speaking skills.

The faculties and dormitories (I stayed in triple share) were all clean and comfortable to stay. Also, when something happened, staffs here dealt with them immediately. All people here were very kind and I am sure that my decision to come here was right!!
I want to come back here again.
