Good relationships with teachers!
I’m a university student in Japan and I decided to study English because it’s necessary for my carrier in the future.

I stayed in Wales only for 6 weeks, but I’m sure that I improved my English skill a lot. At first, I only know few words and grammars because I did not study English so much in Japan… However, now I can use many phrases smoothly.
Though I was a beginner, I enjoyed my 1:1 classes because teachers provided me lessons which suited with my level. Also, I did not need to be nervous about to be left behind. We were also good friends with teachers and we went out on weekends and holidays. It was a good relaxation for me and I could keep my motivations for studying well.

Wales are clean and well-appointed, so I was able to spend as good life as in Japan. In addition, I could get any supports from Japanese staffs whenever I needed, which was very comfortable for me.

Before coming to Wales, I was very nervous and worried a lot, but now I can say that there is no need to be worried. I got a lot of experiences here (not only English abilities, but also ways of thinking, etc…) and I strongly recommend you to come here if you really want to study English!

This 6-week program gave me a lot of things, and I am very satisfied with it^^

우라는We have stayed here for only 2 weeks with 2 kids (12 and 6 years old). All staffs such as admin, teachers and owner here are hospitalized and easy to stay because of not really big number of students inside. Japanese staff taught us about airport pick-up, sightseeing in Baguio.
As for meal, it does fit Japanese as well even though mainly Korean foods. In terms of teachers, there were a bit gap among them since it was summer vacation. We could spend in our condominium comfortably with good view and enough space.

Proper students type would be over university students and adults. There was not sufficient materials and modules for kids while we were staying. If you consider to study here, I will suggest you to confirm first. Condition can be changed. Baguio is so secured city that we can go out easily and it is asset for family. We don’t need to be concerned of our kids.

The biggest reason I determined to study English is that I wanted to talk with native speakers. I wanted to know other countries cultures and people.

Goal was “Being able to use proper words/sentences” “Being inspired by cultural background, social back ground and history”.
I chose here WALES because “Good location to get around some places and feel ambience in downtown” “Flexibility that does match adult” “Environment which I prioritize Wi-fi speed because of work”.

I have improved especially in my mind which I am not afraid of talking with foreigners and enhancement of Listening and Speaking!! Anyhow what I could study with my own relaxed style was the most sufficient thing.
I would like to tell you all “ Study not only English but also culture, history, perspective and people so that you can find other sights to think”.

Go abroad, feel other cultures!
I decided to come here because I wanted to enjoy traveling abroad more! Since I got many support from Japanese staffs before coming here, I did not have to be so nervous.

I stayed here only for 3 weeks, so I do not think I improved my English skill so much…. However, the experience here motivated me to keep studying in the future! I had good teachers and friends, and spent very fun time with them.
In the academy, I used Wifi smoothly, but sometimes there were problems with facilities. Also, because of the humid and damp weather in Baguio, I had to care about my room and belongings not to get mold growing… In those cases, it is better to ask staffs for supports.

I know we are always nervous before coming here, but once you come, you will get used to it and enjoy what you really want to do! In addition, you can have a lot of friends here and mingle with different nationalities. And of course you can enjoy your own time by going shopping and restaurant after school.
It is real fun to know different cultures! Why don’t you come and try it?

Great school for Beginners!
The reason why I decided to study English is in order to use it during traveling. I chose ESL and 3 share this time but my speaking was beginner level that I can speak word by word and understand a little…
There are many serious students in WALES with small amount of people. EOP(English Only Policy) is not so strict, so it let me feel a bit comfortable…haha. I could go out and study in a café after class, that’s why, how I could live was compatible with my style:)

There are mainly one on one classes and teacher caught up with my level. Perhaps, Beginners might be better remove Group class since I was silent because of my not enough speaking skill… Honestly speaking, teachers’ methods are different depends on their personality and skill. In the Philippines, it can not be helped because one on one classes are main. If you have proper reason, it is also possible to ask to change teachers or even subjects. This can be a good system for you:)

I chose WALES because of Wi-fi. I could basically connect it but sometimes couldn’t depends on time and place… School location can totally satisfy you when you run short of groceries or you want to do shopping. You can even prepare least baggage and make up for some stuff after you come to WALES.

Of course, not only good thing that I expected but I could be satisfied with WALES:)
