Improved both pronunciation and listening skill!!

I took ESL course because I was a beginner (I needed to study English for my job). ESL course had 8 Classes a day and the classes especially focused on pronunciation training. Not only in pron-speaking classes, but also in other classes, teacher corrected my pronunciation, which greatly improved my pronunciation. I think by improving my pronunciation, I was able to advance in my listening skills.

The academy was kept clean and had good Wi-fi connections, which made my stay here more comfortable.

This academy was small scale and it was easy to have friends, and teachers and students were also good friends. We usually went out during weekends and spent fun time together 🙂
Students here studied hard and had their own goals as well. I recommend you to choose WALES if you want to both enjoy and study English hard!

I’m very satisfied with my short stay in the Philippines!

Good environment to study English!
I took IELTS course to get a higher score for studying abroad. The level of the classes was suitable for me and teachers always gave me reviews a lot, which was very effective for me to overcome my weakness. Besides, I had practical mock examinations regularly and I was able to test how I improved. I also had good relationships with teachers and the atmosphere in the academy was homey.

The academy was new and cleaned every day, so I studied comfortably. WiFi connection was also comparatively good.

I made many friends from other countries and I had a lot of opportunities to speak English, which greatly helped me to improve my speaking.
Now I’m satisfied with my study in the Philippines!!

Effective way of study: Man to man style.
I took both ESL and IELTS classes in Wales. I think 1:1 classes helped me to improve my speaking skill very much. I had many opportunities to speak English and I was able to ask any time in the classes. Also, teachers provided me lessons which suited with my English level. I think 1:1 classes are effective for beginners. Although I had an experience to study in the US, here I was able to improve my speaking and listening skill more than that. Now I am more proficient in English than before and I got a confidence with speaking English.

The faculties in Wales are new and comfortable, though sometimes I couldn’t connect WiFi… Since I did not stay in the dormitory in Wales, I did not have curfew and go out freely. Around Wales, there are many convenient facilities such as seven-eleven, and it was really comfortable to stay there.

In Wales, many students were studying hard and we always talked in English (because of English Only Policy) . Therefore I also recommend you to choose Wales if you want to study hard.

Good relationships with teachers!
I’m a university student in Japan and I decided to study English because it’s necessary for my carrier in the future.

I stayed in Wales only for 6 weeks, but I’m sure that I improved my English skill a lot. At first, I only know few words and grammars because I did not study English so much in Japan… However, now I can use many phrases smoothly.
Though I was a beginner, I enjoyed my 1:1 classes because teachers provided me lessons which suited with my level. Also, I did not need to be nervous about to be left behind. We were also good friends with teachers and we went out on weekends and holidays. It was a good relaxation for me and I could keep my motivations for studying well.

Wales are clean and well-appointed, so I was able to spend as good life as in Japan. In addition, I could get any supports from Japanese staffs whenever I needed, which was very comfortable for me.

Before coming to Wales, I was very nervous and worried a lot, but now I can say that there is no need to be worried. I got a lot of experiences here (not only English abilities, but also ways of thinking, etc…) and I strongly recommend you to come here if you really want to study English!

This 6-week program gave me a lot of things, and I am very satisfied with it^^

우라는We have stayed here for only 2 weeks with 2 kids (12 and 6 years old). All staffs such as admin, teachers and owner here are hospitalized and easy to stay because of not really big number of students inside. Japanese staff taught us about airport pick-up, sightseeing in Baguio.
As for meal, it does fit Japanese as well even though mainly Korean foods. In terms of teachers, there were a bit gap among them since it was summer vacation. We could spend in our condominium comfortably with good view and enough space.

Proper students type would be over university students and adults. There was not sufficient materials and modules for kids while we were staying. If you consider to study here, I will suggest you to confirm first. Condition can be changed. Baguio is so secured city that we can go out easily and it is asset for family. We don’t need to be concerned of our kids.
