Types of IELTS

The International English Language Testing System (IELTS) is a test that measures the language proficiency of those who want to study or work in environments where English is used as a language of communication. 

There are two modules to choose from: IELTS Academic and IELTS General Training. 

Each organisation sets its own entry requirements. In some cases, both the Academic and General Training module may be accepted. If you are in doubt as to which module to take, you should contact the organisation to which you are applying to confirm their requirements.

IELTS STARTER (3.5-4.0)

IELTS Starters focuses on the skills development and provides step-by-step exercises and guidance on the questions that appear in the IELTS test. 

Total Class: 8 Classes a Day

IELTS Developing (4.5-6.5)

IELTS Developing focuses on the exercises to give students the opportunity to practice the skills, process information and acquire strategies. 

Total Class: 7 Classes a Day

IELTS INTENSIVE (7.0 and above)

IELTS Intensive focuses on intensive practice for further enhancement on the skills.

IELTS Academic

This program is designed to prepare students and professionals who will study and work in an English- speaking country. Students will learn the essential skills and knowledge they need in order to attain their target band score.

Group Classes	Grammar	Intends to help students with the appropriate use of punctuations and grammatical structures which is essential for IELTS writing tasks.
	Discussion	Discussion Class aids students in addressing questions for IELTS writing task 2. It helps them learn and exchange new ideas about a certain topic.
1:1	Listening	To introduce and familiarize students with the different IELTS Listening question types and learn different strategies on how to answer questions within the given time.
	Reading	To introduce and familiarize students with the different IELTS Reading question types and learn strategies to be able to answer all the questions within the given time.
	Speaking	Learners will learn how to respond and expand their answers using wide range of lexical resource and sentence structures in a fluent manner.
	Writing 1	Writing task1 focuses on how to describe, summarize or explain an information such as tables, graphs, charts or diagrams within a given time.
	Writing 2	Writing task 2 focuses on paraphrasing, task achievement and proper organization of the student’s writing.
Self- Monitored Vocabulary and Writing workbook		Extra vocabulary and writing workbook provide students opportunity for more practice.

IELTS General Training

The IELTS General Training course is designed to prepare Students with the essential skills and knowledge to help them attain their desired band score.

	Writing 1 GT	Writing task1, students will learn formal and informal letter writing and how to write a detailed respond to a complaint, request information or explain a certain situation.
	Writing 2	Writing task 2 focuses on paraphrasing, task achievement and proper organization of the student’s writing.
